Tried to buy the Wotherspoon Hemp Gazelle at my local JD today. Asked a kid working for my size, but manager pulled him away because he was in the wrong area (just grabbed the shoe from him and eventually put it back on the shelf without following through). I waited around for a bit to see if anyone was going to bring it out. Eventually asked another kid to get my size, and it eventually came. I tried it on and then got in line. This was Monday afternoon and there were more employees on the floor than customers, almost all of whom were in line waiting for the one employee working checkout. I got in line and the two people at the front of the line had to step aside because their shoes weren't there at the counter. After waiting a bit longer, I just walked out. I think sometimes the universe is telling you not to follow through with a purchase. And I just didn't want to give them my business.
