the silhouette of these is atrocious...they look like they would allow for minimal ankle flex. the whole heat check concept seems ridiulous too. smh @ adidas.

The heat check gimmick doesn't really add to performance it seems,and yeah,what is up with the heel section? Hope it's not on some sphere technology like on the lebron 3 because that hurt like hell. Beasley's>Rose's though

According to Counter Kicks, the ankle/tongue area is set up so that you are able to lace ankle braces to the show for a more secure fit mt3130. and btlgrnd the heel is part of the PureMotion tech they used this year.... heavily inspired by the Feet You Where tech from the 90s

Not feeling the heel. Everything else looks good. And while I do agree that the color-changing stripes add nothing to the performance of the shoe, it doesn't look like they take away anything either.

Like most said the heel/ankle collar looks ridiculous and totally nonfunctional.
I was thinking that it would flap down or something.
