Memories do not last forever. Ask anyone with dementia or Alzheimer's.

But I'd still choose spending my money doing something awesome than buying something awesome (unless it's something I can do awesome stuff with).
lol.....you are foul for that bro

spending $1000+ on a vacation is luxury spending, yeezys have higher potential value but a vacation is just burned money, unless you win money on a vacation or something.
I don't consider the $3k I spent on 10 days in Maui with my wife as "burned money", you crazy

this is so silly. "burned money"....you know money is meant to be spent right? just because you pay for something that doesn't have a "higher potential value" doesn't mean you wasted money

You have Dementia/Alzheimer's you think you're going to care about some Yeezys? You're going to have ZERO clue what they are. Just going to be another orthopedic shoe.

No one on their deathbed will pass saying "I wish I had more pairs of yeezys"

well, I guess on this forum maybe I'm wrong.

At the end of the day experiences >>> material objects. at least in my opinion

You can have great memories with family without dropping exorbitant amounts on a vacation. I've been there done that. Spent a few racks in the casinos last year instead of stacking the yeezys. I'll take the yeezys over that vacation all day

everyone on this forum wants to have both, flex in yeezys in fiji

Tell him. Take that thousand and go somewhere. As long as u have a cheap place to stay the most expensive thing is the flight. 1000$ can go a long way if u do it right. You'll never regret spending that 1000. Spent 1300$ in DR and I don't miss a penny.

family members grieving, talking quietly among themselves at the funeral home, "I hope he left me the Yeezys in the will"

Next time I go to Philippines I'm def touring SE Asia also, I really want to go to Bali

haha thankfully I think most of the older folks (I'm getting up there myself) are fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a little bit of both
Yeah, I'm turning 36 this year and it's nice that my wife and I can enjoy life a bit. Probably helps that we don't have kids yet.

But they do...not Yeezys but other rich people ish. Vintage LV bags cost just as much if not more than current LVs.
Some cars have appreciated in value.

Maybe since it's a Yeezy thread, people are only focused on that particular product but be well aware that there are some material possessions that hold value and are passed down.
