I doubt it. I have Publish pants that are a year old with ankle zippers. It's not new just newly popular.

Yeah I wear mine zipped. I always thought the zipper was meant to be a functional way of having a very small ankle opening that you could still get over your foot.

Are you referring to the End. restock? It's only ONE store. Your theory only works if it's a global wide restock.
