why dont people just help themselves and create a new account to put their purchases in? people are already spoonfed info here and you wanna do more for them?

from what i understand, they mark your purchase as picked up when you sign in and they ask for the barcode.  it automatically registers in their system to add the purchase to your vip account.

I'm pretty sure when I picked up my pair at willow brook mall the chocked scanned my barcode... then she had to look up my account by my phone number ....at that point I'm sure you can just tell her you log the sale in later

it doesn't. When you go pick up, generally theres a guy with a list that has your name and the store's unique barcode thats also shown in your 1 time claim code. Once they verify you actually won and the details match up, you go to the register to make your purchase. And then at the register, they will ask you for your vip number to scan and add that purchase to your vip total. The last 8 yeezy pickups I did, I tried to not give them my current platinum VIP and they said I have to open it on the app where the barcode is right there.

the first part is true. Thats how they register that you picked up your reservation pair. But the second part, its for vip total spent purposes which you can put it towards a different account. For example, I had platinum vip and my girl's account only had $100 on it. I pick up my reservation pair and I give them my girl's vip account to scan and the total got added up on her account.

There is a penalty, but its % picked up VS Not picked up.............Not just, you didnt pick up so now you cant pickup now.


it seemed like that early on if you didnt pick up because of course your percentage would be high since there weren't many releases at that point.

so the system that isn't integrated well enough to reflect folks spending and has a lag of a day (or so) between when the app says you spent YYY amount and your status says you spent XX amount, is able to punatively ding you for not picking up?....this is the same app doesn't keep a history of what you have won, the same app that zeros out your spending at the end of the calendar year....

the app doesn't distinguish between a plat VIP who spent $350 for the year and a plat VIP account with 3K spent for the year. Once the VIP status threshhold is met the amount doesn't matter but conversely other things matter such as active accounts which can be drilled down to $.
