should I "edit" cart if sizes is OOS?

in one window go to cart and check out until it gives you the error message. then on that tab clik edit, leave it. Open a new tab and try to check out

adidas CS said my order never went through and reversed the charge. I asked if there was anything they could do and she said no. I asked about a promo code or something for the inconvenience and the 808s and heartbreak  and she said she could give me a 10 or 15% off code. FOH! Very salty about this.
