Luck of the draw on retailers (though I haven't seen any with China Tephra's yet -- so maybe they all were made there). I got mine from Sneaker Politics last night, and they're from India. All of my other 700's are from China. For a better graphic representation of the toe box difference, here are side-shots of my Tephra's compared to my other V2's (all the same size):

Adidas needs to train their workers in India better, they’re producing $300 Yeezy sneakers, not low-end $50 budget Adidas here.

I wouldn't get too worked up about the India thing. As was said, it seems all the Tephra's were made in India, and all the V2 cw's have small differences between them anyway.

Pfft...220 (240 after tax) is close enough.

Copped the XI's when they dropped. My ears did perk up at that post tax price. Got so used to paying 180 for shoes that the 40 dollar difference was audibly noticeable as ****.

Least ugly? Both are dope. They just don’t have a ton of hype behind them. Analogs have a slightly cleaner look but if I were you I would cop the one that’s cheapest.

Pass on both. Use that money towards Static 700

Both are dope, I was in your shoes a couple weeks ago and chose the salts. Might make my way around to the analogs one of these days

For y'all that got tephras how does the mesh on the sidepanel feel/look in hand? What kind of material is it?

In for those 451 if the look like the latest pic. Specially if they have an all black with some volt accents like in the 3 color way rendering.
