advice for open tryouts for minor league baseball team

I've decided that I'm going to attend some open try-outs for minor league baseball teams in the spring. Has anyone ever done this? I don't have much experience (never played in HS or College) but I figured that if I really put in some work until then, I may have a small chance of getting signed by someone. And advice from anyone out there?

never played in HS or college???? i doubt you have any shot in making it, no offense.

never played in HS or college???? i doubt you have any shot in making it, no offense.
