Whats with the dark red though? Isn't it supposed to be lighter? I was about to scoop a pair of 2001 Black red's like I had in high school, since these new releases of 1's don't look right.

they need to make this happen more.
have 2 pairs of og playoff xiii's, one made in china and the other in taiwan.
there's an obvious difference in quality.

These look A LOT better than the last few 1's released in terms of leather.

The materials are great.  Nike remembered what leather should feel like. 
They were the only pair available & were purchased out of curiosity.  I did not recall a release...

i noticed yours came in a black/grey box as opposed to the special box. were your size tags marked b-grade per chance?
