Believe it or not it was a thing to be anti-Jordan at the time by getting Penny's and Grant Hill's instead.

I didn’t have the grant hills but I had the Fila bubbles at the time nyc and fila bubbles was a major thing back in the 90s

But you are right on the penny thing cause I remember my pops buying me and old sister penny 2s and when wore them my friends wanted them badly over Jordan.

Gotta remember Nike had the lil penny marketing to push the popularity of penny hardaway

2018 Concord XI are looking good so far but I'm disappointed the #45 is crappy ink and not embroidered like 2016 Space Jam. Stitching looks really nice, and it's lasting durability too.
