Based on these pictures I'll say you do have a point. Still you can't deny that the 2000s are leaps and bounds closer to OG setup than the 2009s.

Exactly. The price has gone from $185-220 for XIs in the past 3 years. However before the $220 price the XIs always commanded a premium compared to the rest. With the NA stuff we've seen $220 across the board for NA retros and XIs (72-10) and everything else for $190, except for the master xii. Obviously I'm not taking ovo, psny & jd into account because those are all ltd collabs. I think $220 is the most likely price until further notice.

In nike's annual report they stated that they were going to go back to not mass producing Jordans like they did for 2015, but with all the pairs of WC 4s that were available, maybe quantities for future releases will still be high

That's his fault. He should've bought them a couple of years ago or at least waited to find out which XI was being released this year. Good job though. A lot of people will start unloading DS '09 pairs when the RD is close and won't get anywhere that much. The '99-'01 stuff will remain high because they are highly regarded. All the retros after those years plummet when there is a re-release. These are going to be remastered, most likely Improving in many areas and will definitely have minty icy soles.
