I meant on the heel....On the toe box the lower the better of course!

Hmm....I'd be super disappointed with that pair. I don't need super tumbling, but these are just way to smooth and don't look good. Esp the toe box looks so smooth that dust would scratch it. Or is the camera artificially smoothing it out?

And the EP height (and maybe it's the height of the entire shoe?) is super low. I have to check my WCs, but these just look super low.

To answer your question, the pics are unfiltered, the bc 3s I posted are pretty smooth in the toe box , Id of preferred a little more tumble , but this will be 1 of 3 pair Ill have from this drop, so I aint stressing it.

My bad....I meant the heel EP height seems low. On 4s this is way more obvious that they've improved this in recent years. Maybe there are normal; just stood out as a little thin to me on that back heel. I could be wrong.

Smooth/non smooth leather aside, these look great. Of course pairs will vary but I like what I see here. Bottom shoe in particular looks like one of reimagined WCs, only black.

Ftl connect came thru with my semi-early pair..
Material is decent on these , uppers are definitely softer / better (imo) than the 2018s.
^ ( not 2016 wc 4 leather, but still decent)
The overall shape is much better.
( no more of that banana toe bs they kept pushing)
Ep height, as well as print lines are more subtle, looks better , not quite OG, but definitely close enough.
Collar and tongue are slimmed padding wise, although not lacking so much padding that you cant go t.t.s..

Overall *for me* this is the best BC 3 retro Ive seen in 20+ yrs ...
