Some people just know what they like and how they like it. I’ve been wearing Nike/JB all my life and I’m 40. After so long it just becomes a part of who you are. Other brands don’t even cross my mind so it’s not a refusal. When I want a quick burger I go to McDonald’s, when I want a shoe I head to Nike. It’s really not that deep.

They also had $150-$200 models on the market from 96-01. The retro was seen as a cheap add-on to their product mix, not outselling their annual performance product. If in say 94 when they dropped the first retros and they sold as well as the IX, you think the price wouldn’t have gone up by 01? The pricing has always been arbitrary even if their later models cost a few bucks more to make.

Immediately took my pair for a little walk when they came in today, might be placebo effect but they feel a little more comfy than my broken in 2018 pair.
Black & Red AJ1 the most iconic Jordan, but BC3s the best one imo.

When it comes to BC 3’s, have only owned a pair of the ‘01 and ‘18 releases. Loved the look and feel of the ‘01. ‘18 felt like a boot to me.

The word “dine” should be used loosely when referring to McDonald’s. Just like quality should be used lightly when referring to anything produced by Nike.
