AIR JORDAN 3 BLACK CEMENT - NOVEMBER 23, 2024

Yeah my main complaint with the 24's is the elephant print. I don't have major issues with anything else.

With so many pairs made, just gotta buy another if you want a perfect pair. Yall should be used to Jordan's QC by now. :lol

Nike went to synthetics long ago to cut costs. One thing no one mentions is that even though there’s high quality materials on stuff from NB, Saucony, etc… true high grain full hide leather has become less and less prominent in sneakers, especially basketball shoes.

It’s not sustainable and becomes less sustainable to source every year. And economically the cost to source enough full hide leather for an entire run of hundreds of thousands of shoes is almost impossible. Even with NB you rarely find a full hide leather predominant shoe made in GR numbers.

For sure, makes them lighter too. It makes sense to want to cut down weight on a shoe meant for basketball. Good point about the sustainability.

Got my SD pair in… came in 2 days early… my sons pair is supposed to come in tomorrow…

I’m satisfied with my pair 🤙🏽

Some people just know what they like and how they like it. I’ve been wearing Nike/JB all my life and I’m 40. After so long it just becomes a part of who you are. Other brands don’t even cross my mind so it’s not a refusal. When I want a quick burger I go to McDonald’s, when I want a shoe I head to Nike. It’s really not that deep.

Yeah but imagine only ever eating McDonalds your whole life when you eat out. Can that person be happy? Sure, but from the outside it seems odd. 🤷‍♂️
