Didn’t listen to my own advice, and played restock-roulette.

One shoe has this raggedy chewed up looking toe leather. Didn’t take a good pic, but EP is all kind of randomly mis-aligned.

Not sure how to explain it, but seems a good % of pairs have one shoe that was mashed down in the shoe last. Tried to show that in the other pic. Looks like someone stepped on the shoe from above.

I might mow the lawn in these, I dunno.

One of my pairs is this way! Good call on being mashed down on the last. I hadn't thought about that.

Whole Vietnam factory produced these with no care. At least JB sold at their units.. at the end of the day, that's what matters the most.

That’s a really good pair! The shape so good the thick elephant print strip on the toe is unnoticeable.

This is the better pair. Would you keep? The leather on left shoe is different but you have to look really close. Left looks like tiny “holes” and right is more regular leather.
Also it was 25% off cause the Nike Black Friday code worked on these lol
Both left shoes on both pairs are the ones with slight issues. It’s like left shoes are all made in a different factory and then paired with a random right shoe.

I just noticed on my pair from trade block has some "ghost stitching" on both shoes. I still think they might be legit. The ghosts stitching doesn't light up under the black light. Can any of you guys check your pairs around the eyelets to see if yours might have them. I appreciate it.

Both pairs are Vietnam pairs... consenus is the China pairs are better correct? (only skimmed last 2-3 pages)

Yes, though consistent might be a better word. I’ve seen Vietnam pairs that were better than some China pairs, but you are more likely to get a good Chinese pair.
