First time hearing this.. always heard it was just longer socks rolled down like mentioned before. But just looking at this pic which I have a million times over the years it indeed does look like sweatbands underneath his socksSome say he wore wrist/sweat bands under his socks.

years ago JB released socks intentionally rolled down just like his sig look. Lost my pair years ago, but saw
