If the edge lines truly are just white and not reflective, the fact that it appears that they literally just painted them white because the new style Nike-buck doesn't have cut lines like the old stuff is hilarious.

Yeah, the lines look hella exaggerated like some of the bad Crayola DIY jobs I've seen of the black cement 4s
I have a DS pair of the last retro so it's a game time decision

So according to Seth, the edges of the material ARE reflective.
I've been saying this for a few pages now. Some of these pics DO look like there's some pop to the edge lines. Just gotta see them in person to judge.

What do you think the future holds for reps? Will it just got worse or do you foresee someone doing something about it? Also, what V and VIII do you want to see released next? Have a great weekend brother you deserve it.

I think that once they become indistinguishable, JB will finally find something that they can implement that will easily be able to distinguish real from reps. What that will be, I don't know. But they have to find something, or they'll be in even more trouble than they are right now.
5s Hmmm. All the OGs would have retro'd recently by the end of next year, so I'll be pretty much good. Think I'm done with retro plus colorways for the most part. A dope collabe will make me reconsider though. Feel the same way about the 8s. They need to retro the rest of the OG 7s though, they're playing.

This has been me for the past 10 years or so.
Once JB started rapidly spewing out retro plus colorway after colorway it was too much for me. Back to the basics (classics!).

It's not a new durabuck replacement material, it's straight up nubuck that it seems like they dyed as deep a black as they can to give the same look; so yeah the edges would be black if they didn't paint it.
I didn't even think about the sloppy craftsmanship we could end up seeing on the edges though

I actually prefer the SE version over the fencing face mask joints. I had the Laker high, the brown suede low, and the blue suede low.
