It’s corny…..except for team sports. Nothing was cooler than seeing the Fab Five come out all rocking Huaraches or the black Air Force Max. Closest I ever got to that was in a Filipino league back in 2000, where 3 of us had the Concords. Not sure if it helped us play any better, but rocking the same kicks on the court does bring about a better sense of unity.
On a related note, we are long overdue for a retro of the Air Force Max in the black/grey colorway.

So do we think JB will get the shape right on the next release? I sold my '16s when these were announced. Hadn't been wearing them much and they were yellowing and felt like boots. Looked great though. I like the slimmed down collar and ankle bubbles, but there's still a ways to go there, and the toe box is diff from the '16s, but arguably no better.
100% sitting this one out for the next release; I know these would just end up getting minimal wear. They're just not good enough JB. Make improvements like you did to the 3s and some 4s, and we're back in business.

Im only entering for them where it’s free returns. I want to see them in hand but not expecting to keep them. Doesn’t seem like that good of a retro.

I’m in only for one pair. It’s not a double or triple up release to me, unless if I like them a lot, once I get a pair in hand. Funny thing about this release, is that if stock isn’t so plentiful, then people will be trying to get a pair, regardless if they actually like the materials or not, because everybody loves a limited release. Even if it’s a GR that’s cut down to half of its regular usual production.!
I don’t think that everyone is going to get a pair, if they don’t put in any work. Common sense should tell yall, this isn’t going to be a 500,000 + plus pairs to go around, so people are definitely going to be surprised on release day, thinking that this is going to be a normal regular million pairs GR release.

I usually like to style OG Jordans like Mike but for some reason I feel like the white laces in the metallic 5s look a bit weird, I think I'll change them for black laces.
