I agree. But here is the thing. The last factory that made a 6 with a white midsole may not be contracted by Nike now. May be a totally new place. So they get new specs while the old "what worked" specs are long gone.

The Black Infareds are 1A for me and the Carmines are a legit 1B. I had a poster of him wearing the Carmines on my wall and I used to carry that NBA Hoops Olympic card around with me. For pure nostalgia for me personally they are probably my real #1. Black Infareds are possibly the best looking AJ ever though.

So I was able to do a repaint tonight and it wasn't that bad. Taping is a pain in the *** for this shoe! But this was my best action as this was a early pair.

We don't know for sure that every single pair of these won't bleed eventually. And at a much faster pace. They can send back the pink ones today, but the entire run could be tainted. Dunno how they can justify selling any of them honestly

And you have every right to be. Its unfortunate. But to some degree, I still want to see actual pics of these from multiple sources to gauge the dramatics here. A small part of me thinks this may be blown way out of proportion. Wish I could see a pair in hand.

Never will I buy a shoe if I think I need to do work to it to satisfy me. Thats like going to a barber for a fade, paying for it, then going home and fixing it yourself.

This is basically what I think. I'll admit I could be wrong. Most of the images they are posting are just the one pair. If it was really this bad it's pretty hard for me to believe that this is just now being discovered with the world we live in nowadays lol. There was a lot of them out there and I've seen a lot of them that look normal.

I have a couple of those because I liked them and they were cheap as **** for a while. 1 is DS and I haven't looked in a while. The other has held up fine. I can tell of course but it's not all that bad.

Honestly it wasn't like the pairs they were posting from foot locker. But because the Leather is so coke white that the midsole has a pink tinge on the left shoe. The right was completely white.

Eh I’m gonna wait it out and take the gamble on them going cheaper at outlets. Although outlet pricing will probably start at $160 which is still too high for pink midsoles.

Faber Castell are you In or out?
If someone had purchased them before it was revealed that there was an issue with midsole and really likes them, then I'm very interested in seeing their perfected version of the 2021 Carmine.
For myself, I don't have the skill and experience to paint the sneaker, which would leave me deciding on not to purchase them.
Air Jordans are an expensive luxury sneaker and the thought of wondering about the severity of discoloration before they hypothetically arrived, would take away from the thrill of purchase.
There is also the part of me that wants to deny Nike Corporation my Carmine money, as this was not the product that I was hoping for. Unfortunately, they will most likely get my money through another one of their other products.
