I thought it was just me. The charcoals definitely lacked comfort.
I can't believe these will be sought after so much, after sitting on shelves for months back in the days. $79.99, then $69.99, and $59.99.
I don't know what it is, but the paint they used on the recent IX's looks a lot cheaper than the previous batch of retros.
That olive color is lighter than the originals and midsoles too shiney.Only if i have spare money after black friday.

And even then, the main reason people bought them was to customize them into charcoals. It'll be interesting to see how they move this time around. Yep. My local Champs had FSRs of these on sales racks w/o boxes for 29.99!!! Same goes for the Mocha IIIs, I got mine for only $10 with a $20 off coupon !
Back then NOBODY wanted brown Jays. The mentality was If you were going to wear brown shoes they should be boots or dress shoes.
