leather experts chime in. were the all star red 3s real leather? just went to footlocker and sniffed em. some pairs had a nice grain to them, while some cuts were crocodile leather

No. A decent Synthetic. But not alot of sneakers use real leather these days.

real leather has a very strong and distinct smell. Think leather wallets, belts, or jackets.

Those were super narrow though, i had to go a full size up. I have been good with my size 12 on all 3s before and after the true blues.
