Contrast don't look to bad in this video....especially when he has them on feet. I'm starting to think it's the lighting that makes it really stand out......but I'm sucker for this shoe and all its history.....regardless I'm in....and red pull tab is everything.

The textured nubuck panel just isn't holding the black dye as much as the not-Durabuck sections are.

I'm not an 8 expert so I'm not good with the accuracy stuff, but I've got to say this video really sold me. They look like black tanks and I like.

In comparison to the Aquas... I think those are maybe the most 90s colorway of any AJ that decade, and I regret not getting a pair. But comparing on-feet videos these Playoffs make the Aquas look cheap.

in 1993 I was all about the Playoffs and didn’t like Aquas. They were way too bright and over the top for me but I eventually grew to love them. Pretty much tied with playoffs now.
