Air jordan XVII question

ok i managed to get my hands on the air jordans XVII's (red and white) and my friends have told me its not a good ball shoe and playing basketball is mainly what i was gonna use it for, also they say that its gets dirty QUICK... so if you could help me thx alot guys

I have the white and blue ones and balled in them all the time. I still have them and they are in good condition. The problem that you'll have with them is the toe box creasing big time. Long story short they are comfortable to ball in. They'll stay clean looking if you clean them after every wear.
