The eagle landed today for me. Social Status finally shipped on Tues and they got here in 2days. Looks better in person than the pics. I took this right before work. More pics to come later. The packaging is sick tho.

It's because earth tones and big boxy retro looking shoes are in right now.

They see the hype surrounding all the greens and browns that New Balance is getting buzz with and they want some of that. Imagine these with a fall season FOG, ALD, or A Ma Maniere sweat suit and I think that's the market they're trying to jostle into.

i lucked out and copped an 11 before that option went away this morning, I was looking for sz 11.5 technically but heard these fit more TTS than the previous retros so well see.

with the amount of pairs floating around I would not be surprised to see these go for even less over time - However, $120 is a great price point, even for a non-collab.
