Wore these for the first time today. My jeans bled right through them.

This hasn’t happened with the 1s
always cuff man. I learned the hard way

They don’t, they are pretty comfortable, more than the Union 2s. Those crease very easily.

Comfort and creasing aren't related, other than with good materials they should crease, and as you wear them in and they crease, they tend to be even more comfortable; not less.

I've only worn mine with black Nike slacks. I'd never do blue jeans. I wonder, though, if black jeans would bleed?

All new jeans bleed. Gotta wash or “worsh” them several times so the denim stops bleeding. However, it is recommended to never wash jeans anyway unless absolutely necessary (at least that’s true for levis)

Never wash jean....WTF man. All of my jeans are years old, though I only hang to dry. Personally gonna stick with black slacks with these. Would love to do black jeans, but not taking the risk. Or maybe I can spray them with waterproofing. That said, that s**t needs to be redone occasionally, and I just never bother doing it over again.

If the denim has actual indigo dye, then you gotta push the washes. Obviously if they stink, wash em but hang dry em

I communicated that poorly. They were separate thoughts. The AMM 2s fit better and are more comfortable.

It is shocking to me how easily the Unions creased. Worn once for a few hours and they heavily creased more than any shoe I’ve ever worn with one wear.

They ain’t new, they are several years old and I don’t wash jeans very often because they deteriorate. I’ve had that pair of jeans for at least two years and it has not bled on any sneaker including the AMM 1s which has a similar materials.

Well that's a new learning for me. Wow....maybe they also avoid sitting down in public places, wind drift smell, etc. That's truly an OCD I'd hope to avoid.

I waterproof and it helps alot with the staining. and makes it easier to wipe off and dye that does bleed through. These will be hard though because of the texture of the material.

Modern Levi’s are made of something that kind of looks like, but very much does not feel like, the work clothing of its storied history. So I can believe that this sham material that shares its name with a legendary fabric that survived farm life, the mines, and the ranges would be afraid of the low speed agitator in a modern high efficiency washer.

Americans generally wash their clothes too often, but it’s laughable that a fabric, as opposed to its dyes or stitching, should be damaged by a wash.

TTS should work. For me personally, I go a half size down in most of my 2s, though for this one I ended up going TTS since out of habit I selected my actual size when I signed up for the in-store appointment online.
I assume you like the snug fit too. After owning these and wearing these for some time now, would you say you shouldve went .5 down or TTS still the move?
