Nike now has improved technology to scan the history of "fake accounts" in order to determine if they were "botted." Which is why the shift to direct to consumer imo. They're getting better and better at deciphering which accounts are legit and which are "duplicates/fakes."

This is what I picked up on based on a convo I had with a Business Intelligence Analyst at Nike HQ, who is a client of my brother-in-law's.

But then who are these dumbass kids gonna blame when they don’t win their SNKRS draw, if they can’t blame “evil resellers driving up prices by buying all the stock with their bots”?

They may have bot tech, but the push to DTC is across their entire offering, not just hyped releases. They moved almost all apparel to online and store brands. I guess they think they’re famous enough, haha

Yeah I really feel like Nike is limiting foot stores now. They really going through with that direct to consumer model....
I scooped a double up pair at jds, only had a half sheet of raffles. Was also able to grab wifeys 5.5 there too

Bots? You mean people took the stock. Believe it or not, Nike intentionally limits the stock available for purchase. It’s almost like they want their exclusive Jordans to be exclusive. It’s a truly profound mind-blowing concept that apparently only very few people have the ability to understand.

That doesn’t make much sense... if it was available for purchase then it was available for purchase for everyone. Also never heard of this group CDN Notify and I didn’t know Foot Locker openly disclosed all their bot vulnerabilities to them.

And even if true, if it was mistakenly released and Foot Locker knows all the orders were made by bots … can’t they just cancel them??
