These are like the 2020 Fire Red 5s of 2022

Surprisingly excellent looking retro. Excited to hear some thoughts on the comfort. I really hope they start improving the comfort of retros and stop making so many of the midsoles feel like straight up bricks.

Agreed on updating the comfort. For what we pay we should be getting zoom in all retros that didn't have vis air. My pair should be in hand tomorrow can't wait to get them.

Let us know on the comfort when you get them! I pulled my Hares out last night to compare them to the pictures of these Cardinals, and the Cardinals shape is sooo much better. The ankle on the 2015s looks too low and makes the whole shoe look smushed compared to the 2022s. The ankle height is crucial on the 7s.

Will def do and ill compare em to my OG Playoffs to gauge ankle height. I agree that's so critical on 7s. As much as I love the 02/06 7s the collars were def shorter.

Seems like really the first ones that had the super squished ankle “wings” was that terrible 2009 pack, then the 2011 really went laid back lol

Unreal. All I'm gonna say is you guys won't be disappointed. Phenomenal retro down to the OG style box. JB killed it with these. Just need a new Hare now done like these. A++++. If you love 7s you will absolutely love these.

Yes they have the Nike Air. The only retro they refuse to remaster is the Jordan 9. The jumpman is still reverse

They need to remaster those midsoles too because they legit feel like you're walking on bricks. 9's are by far one of the most uncomfortable Jordans.

Hows the leather quality on the upper? I remember the past retros of the Cardinals had some pretty soft leather at least on the tumbled parts so it ended up creasing nicely.

The toe box leather (and areas that have that exact same leather) is really damb nice. Panels aren't as nice but not complete **** either. Overall it's a really well put together shoe.

Yeah i figured thats how it was, thats the same on the retros as well. The tumbled leather portions were nice but the smooth leather portions were nothing great. Either way, sounds good to me.
