AJ XXX (30)

Bro they haven't had anything more than 20 percent off in YEARS.

The only time there's a 25 percent off code its a one time code that is given to you when you buy the east bay premier club that's it
I could of sworn there was 25% at least once within the last 3 years. maybe not. I don't buy nearly as much as I used to so I'm not quite in the loop anymore I guess

These would have looked 100x better without the toe jumpman.

gotta be the worst toe of any Jordan. Most people would say the 15 is the worst tongue in the line which might be true but at least it's a bold design, love it or hate it. This is just an extremely tacky branding attempt. Hopefully they put a little more thought into the 31 unlike the 29 and 30 using jumpmans as filler. Judging by this bag, I have a feeling we're in for more of the same.

I always get a bit confused when people complain about the use of Jumpman branding. There's a huge Nike swoosh on every other shoe out there. What's the difference? Is branding ok if it is a Nike swoosh? I assume the same rule would apply, and you dislike anything with a overly large Nike swoosh, like the 1s or any Lebron or KD. The real estate of the Nike swoosh on a Nike shoe by far exceeds that of the 30. I assume most do own a pair of 1s, or a some other Nike shoe with an overly sized Nike swoosh on the inside, outside, middle, sole, and tongue of each shoe. So is it dislike of the logo, or you don't like logos on a shoe? Just curious.

It's not the logo but the logos placement and size.

It can't be the size. As stated above, the real estate of the Nike sign is far larger than the jumpman on the 30. I could take the placement, which means you'd rather have a large logo right in the center of the shoe on both sides, like the 1s? I still don't get it. So you like 4 large Nike logos on your shoes but not other branding? So if you took the logo and placed it a bit larger on both sides of each shoe like a 1 or any other Nike than it would be ok? My point is I think it's a dislike of the logo itself. I can't see any other way around it. Unless you can explain other wise and why it's ok for a Nike swoosh but not another logo. Interesting, but I'm a marketing nerd. Also I'm not arguing with anybody here I'm just trying to grasp this concept. 2 friends of mine were talking to me about this while wearing the 1s and the other the 14s (with 14 Jumpman logos) and it just made me laugh.

I'm not speaking about any other shoe. Just the xxx when I say it's the placement AND the size.

@Airtwo3.. so you're counting the personable branding on the shoe, 'jumpman logo, XIVs, 23, Jordan'...I take that to be different than the actual company logo.

It is the placement and the size. They are two different logos. the swoosh is sleek and can be aesthetic at almost any size. I can't remember a tacky looking swoosh. But the triangular jumpman logo slapped right on the full space of the toe looks awful. There is absolutely ZERO flow between the jumpman and the rest of the design. large swooshes at least generally flow with the length of the shoe. this jumpmans legs are just poking out every which way at the front, looks awful. I said this as soon as I saw the first real pics, if they put a small jumpman in that galaxy looking tab on the side it would have capped off this shoe tremendously.

Stealth's are dope. I was thinking of picking up some NYC 10's, but I like these better. I'm about to use my eBay bucks for some.

There's no reason to debate it, because it's his opinion.

Every time he gives his opinion on how awful a sneaker or design is, I simply look at his avatar and brush it off.

hey, if you think a jumpman layed out in missionary postition on the toe of your shoes is aesthetic, more power to ya.

there are 3 on each shoe that play a role in the look of the shoe. 4 if you think the sole does. the lace tips and insole add virtually nothing to the overall look of the shoe. and anyways it's not like they plastered them around the entire shoe with no thought. they are strategically well thought out and all of them look aesthetically pleasing. I get what you're trying to say but I think you went off on a tangent. I was just saying this is probably the worst use of the jumpman logo ever, even worse than the 29. Just because I dislike this one large jumpman, doesn't mean I don't like the jumpman logo, or I have to dislike big swooshes. You're basically saying all logos should be interchangeable then, which is a dumb argument. btw I actually like the jumpmans on lamarcus Aldridge's shoes right now. some other guys were wearing similar shoes recently Drummond and a few others not sure what they are
nerd.gif
but they definitely DO look better on the side than across the entire toe. There's a reason we haven't seen this type of branding much before, for any brand.

Nice!!!

Isn't it time for JB to show Kawhi Leonard and fans some love? Over the past couple of seasons, he has become one of the top 3 best players in the NBA. The apparel is a start. Can JB please put out a sneaker to go with it. IMO, currently the best NBA player in the Jordan Brand.

Do you really want to see JB put out a shoe for Kawhi just so it's gets put on the clearance shelf?

JB athlete shoes don't sell and are usually wack.
