Not where I am from but I currently reside in Central Africa.

And yes Albino's are told to stay at home at night or not to go out alone.


And to the dude above, Africa is very into sorcery and all that. So even if it doesn't work this time, they will try again.

Sure but where has it actually proliferated to the point where it has become newsworthy and people are being killed regularly over it? Not the US,not anywhere in Europe or Asia...you guessed it, Africa. Last time I checked albinos could travel safely at night in California and in Japan. Now don't youhave to go travel a few miles to get a bucket of water for the day?
