Been wanting to get my 85' Eldorado painted for awhile now, and I'm finally getting it done next week!

I am stuck between 2 colors and keep going back and forth, so any input would b appreciated!

I'm gettin it painted useing a base/clear...

Not my pics, but this is the body style of the car...

Sorry for the NinjaHood sized pics, don't know how to resize

Interior, again not my pic but this is the EXACT color of my interior

Here are the two Colors:

Imperial Blue Metallic (via 2010 Camaro), Color is very dark, but looks AMAZING when the sun hits it, it also matches my interior very well, only problem is that the color kind of hides when light doesn't hit it, so on a cloudy day the color doesn't really look like anything special.

Lemans Blue Metallic (via 2006 Corvette Z06): Color is really nice, blue changes from light to dark depending on lighting. Only issue I'm haveing is that it might be too bright for the navy interior and vinyl quarter top.

Any input would be REALLY appreciated!

Thanks for the input! I was actually leaning toward the Leman's blue at this point in time, but I agree, it may be 2 sporty for the car.

Heres another pic of how dark the Lemans blue looks under different lighting:

And this is how the Imperial Blue can look when the light doesn't hit it..

Thanks for the input! Imperial Blue was my original choice..

Only reason I'm questioning it is because it doesn't really pop unless its in the sun, which now I guess could be a good thing, basically looks black at dusk/rain/night.

Yall definitely helped me make my decision tho!

It should be painted at the latest 2 weeks from today, but we'll see, I'll post pics once it's done..

^Nah...Please explain, cost? longevity?

Main thing I think I wouldn't like about a wrap is that it would most likely lack that 'depth' that a base/clear paint job would have when enough clear coats are applied...

I'm still interested none the less..

It may be 2 late tho cuz I've already put down about a G on the paint job, which I doubt I could easily get back without some type of bs fee.

If out of those two, Imperial.

However, it still looks kind of like a "sporty" color for that car. IMO, I've always liked Eldo's in black. They're a classic shape, and I feel that they deserve a classic color. Looks menacing with fresh black paint, color sanded and buffed.
