For Gil, that’s what it’s all about. As we saw with the Lakers coming up short, it wasn’t just about injury, execution or defense, they didn’t have enough skill to succeed. Over in Portland, it’s one thing to have a dominant, ultra-skilled player, but if not surrounded by a skilled enough roster, you don’t have a chance. We all see different things when we watch and study the game, but an examination of winning basketball points out one common thread, you’re not winning without skill.

#StephenASmith on multiple occasions, looked into the camera and said “I don’t care what the Black Community thinks about me” but when he offended white women after his “provoke” comment, you saw a humble, meek and mild public apology. But with #KwameBrown, he apologized for nothing. He actually ridiculed the #NBA for adding hoodies to their uniform because he said it would upset white ppl because of #TrayvonMartin smh but to the Black Community he offended, he apologized for nothing, and #ESPN keeps rewarding him for it, which is the bigger problem. This is much bigger than Kwame Brown
