i don't understand.. if the funds aren't there, who would cash this thing for you? don't most banks and check cashing places have machines thatdetect if the funds are there?

It would cash because the bank would pre-clear it, then after a couple weeks it would bounce
I'm asking what to do because at first I was scared they would threatnen me about keeping the check...
