Am I Getting $600 or $300? Vol. Stimulus Check

I am 19 years old, live at home with my parents and worked full time in 07', my mom is going to mark me down as independent on her return...

I got the letter from the government informing me about the stimulus check, but it is very confusing. Can somebody break it down?

what would happen if my mom marked me as a dependent? would I get $0?
 
^ depends on how much your parents make together....less than $75K (I think) and they gets $600 each... They (you) also get $300.
 
If you did direct deposit when you filed your taxes you will get your stimulus in May.
 
It goes by the last two numbers of your social security number, so that will determine when you get your check.

00 - 20 May 2
21 - 75 May 9
76 - 99 May 16

Paper check

10 - 18 May 23
19 - 25 May 30
26 - 38 June 6
39 - 51 June 13
52 - 63 June 20
64 - 75 June 27
76 - 87 July 4
88 - 99 July 11
 
Yeah Dependents dont get anything. I was bummed. I figured I would, I didnt even know the parents were claiming me but with tuition last year they did. Ohwell, next year I will get a bigger refund in all probability. Woulda been nice though....
 
comin in right on time, when school ends and summer creeps up....gonna take that and try to flip that in the zecco account.
 
If you get close to a full refund, I'm not sure how the stimulus works.

I thought it was directly associated with your tax liability, that is, you can get up to $xxx dollars of your tax liability BACK. That being said, my totaltax liability was $63 to the State of California. I am getting back $3,500 from the Fed, and another $500 from Cali. I am not counting on a stimulus checkbut would be stoked if I did ($1,200 for being married). We'll see what happens!

When did this info become available? I'm not questioning your credibility. I just haven't heard anything about it.
