That just wishes they can speed up time?

Sophomore still knocking out gen eds so all my classes are still completely unrelated to my major.. Also tired of working ****** jobs making baby money.

Had to quit my job at the bank so I can focus on school (just got bumped up to 18 CH) and now realizing how much of a mistake that was since my family is always hella broke asking me for money.

Just feel like I could be doing more then this. College feels more mandatory than choice, and im easily capable of graduating just right now my heart isn't in it (even though I plan on hitting the deans list this semester).

Wish I could either just fast forward to my career, or start a business of some sort and see a nice steady cash flow but everything seems like its been done and right now I feel like I have no real skills I can profit off of.

Was originally going to post this in TAN, but decided to thread it.

Anyone else currently having similar feels?

EDIT: Can't wait for this thread to be used against me in an argument with another NT'er

Feels like I could be doing more if I was older.

I just turned 19. I've smashed yambs aplenty, I've had plenty of drunken experiences, I've been high off this planet, I've ran from cops, been to plenty of parties, etc..

Feels like I've already completed my teenage initiation years. Im ready for the next stage.

Tired of living hand to mouth b. Ready to be 100% independent.

Careful what you wish for lol.

End up like me, and plenty other grown folks, doing the dougie b/c you got the electric bill down to $100 for the month. Take your time being young and free to act stupid when you feel like it.

I feel you OP. I would love to see what my life is going to be like five years ago and if I'll actually be somebody as opposed to living this mundance mediocre life that I'm currently in.

Same.

Day pretty much consist of..

Wake up at 6 AM -> Get ready -> Leave at 7:15 -> Arrive on campus at 7:45 -> Go to Class -> Go Home -> Chill -> Study -> Chill -> Sleep -> Repeat

The weekends don't make up for the weekdays in the least bit.

EDIT: And yes I've seen click twice. Movie is extremely lame.

If you're in college wishing you could speed up time then something is definitely not right.

I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong.. Pretty much do everything there is to do at my university.

Thinking about transferring after the spring semester to the biggest university in my state so hopefully things change a bit.

Sounds like you are living off campus. You should consider living on campus if possible. I'm sure it'd make your experience better.

And mama used to say don't you rush to get old
And mama used to say take it in your stride
And mama used to say live your life"

How so? College isnt the greatest place on Earth in everyones eyes.
If you are a social person it doesn't get much better. You have an opportunity to meet new people the same age as you almost every day. They could be from another state, even another country. They could have grown up just like you or completely different than you. You're not forced to be with them if you don't like them (like co-workers). You can hang out with them after class without even going anywhere (if they're on campus). Make friends, get introduced to their friends. You make all different kinds of connections and get to hear about other peoples lives while you are going through the same college experience as they are.

College is not all about academics. I learned more valuable skills from my social experience than I did in the classroom. Networking is everything.

Get off NT, walk around campus, strike a conversation with a stranger. You'd be surprised who you meet and where they can take you in life, or maybe where you can take them.

I had a truly exceptional social experience at college because I forged relationships with all different kinds of people and got really lucky with a few of them. I also met a few people who screwed me over but I learned from those experiences.

If you are an introvert and are going to college primarily to read books and be taught by a professor then I could see why it wouldn't be the greatest place.

It's not all just about yambs and partying though. You can learn a lot from just sitting down and talking to different people, and professors, etc... If someone feels they're really being listened to, you'd be surprised what they might tell you, and where it could lead...all I'm saying.

Got damnit, why are these n talk threads so damn emo.

Life is going to suck, your goin to hit lows and you're going to have highs. At your soph year in college? Chances are you haven't done enough to really feel like A) you've 'already done it all' or B) 'this is all pointless' you're young with no kids, either end it or man up, complaining is for females and losers.

enjoy the minimal responsibility while you can b, im a senior now and I dont want this to end. I had a similar mindset like you, I wanted college to fly by so I can start a career, move to a new city, etc etc.. it isnt as great as it sounds. It isnt all about drunken nights and running from cops, theres more to it..

That's all fine and dandy, but how often are you social in school if you're really busting your *** to make moves?

I went to college for less than a year before I dropped out but I don't regret going for that short time.  And just to let yall know, "socializing" can be part of making moves depending on what you're trying to accomplish

I'm just speaking from my own experiences. I had a 2.8 GPA when it was all said and done though so maybe I'm not a role model.

I was satisfied as hell with my college experience though and made some valuable connections

I got two people trying to pull me away from my current job to go work for them right now. Both were just good friends in college. And the job they want me to work is completely unrelated to what my degree was in
