so here is the inside scoop on these guys from a friend of mine who is from the region. According to him their oil is running out fast and that is why many ofthem have started these huge development projects like the Palm and World Islands. The whole point is to have a huge amount of tourism by the time their oilruns out that way they have something to fall back on, BUT without them changing many of their ridiculous laws and customs that may not be possible and many ofthem are going to go broke faster then Paris Hilton when her grandpa dies.
