Woody has to take a fine on this one. You can't let your star take a shot like that and say nothing.
The last play was pretty bad, but the ball pretty much slipped from Melo's hands. He's still one one of most clutch players in the league.
And to the people saying there's 72 games left... that EXACTLY why something needs to be said now. You want the best player on your team going through that **** for that much longer?

That's what really concerns me. I don't like getting jerked by the refs during the regular season but I can chalk it up. Ain't no chalking it up in the playoffs. If the refs are gonna treat Melo like this we're in for some heartbreak.It just sucks because you all know the same type of thing will happen at least a few games in the playoffs.

Also I don't understand why we killed the clock and went Melo ISO down 1 on the road. We should've continued to run the Felton and Chandler Pick & Roll dude had Wince defending him. Very poor last possession by Woodson

I don't know but I'm sure there is some common procedure. I think Phil Jackson used to send in tape of MJ and Kobe. And I know Cuban sent in tapes.
It might be a better idea if the Knicks talk to the league directly than melo speaking out.
Maybe the New York writers should actually be useful for a change and write about it? Or is that too much to ask for?

I missed all of the fourth and some of the third. What happened that was so bad in terms of officiating? The first half wasn't bad.
It was a good game, we stayed close like last game, except we didn't play like **** in the second half.

Not sure which play you guys were referring to where Melo got fouled, but didn't seem like he got fouled when there was 24 seconds left tonight. 
Looked like he pumped and was forced to take an awkward shot.

I always thought Melo gets plenty free throws for being a perimeter player a lot of the time. Been in the top 10 in attempts past three years.

One other factor this came down to was coaching. Woodson let VC destroy JR and finally switched Kidd on him at the end.
Then putting Vince on Chandler completely disrupted what the Knicks were looking for in the last play. Woodson clearly drew up a Felton-Chandler pick and roll and Carlise saw it coming so he put a guard on chandler to switch it. Knicks didn't adjust, they panicked, Melo double pumps, blouses.
Btw I only saw the last play once so maybe I saw it wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

We lost this game in the 3rd, Poor quarter ended up costing us

I didnt catch the game but I just watched the highlights. If that Kaman forearm to Melos face on that drive when NY was down by 1 gets called then the entire game changes.
Call was so easy to make too. Melo got hammered.
