Stat should be a second unit guy disguised as a starter, no matter what, a man on a 100 million dollar contract will be bruised if he has to come off the bench.
Start him. Rest him early , then let him come in with Jr, towards the end half of the first quarter. Alternate these guys (melo and stat) what a luxury it is to have 2 scorers with their ability .
He also hasn't had full contact practices so I don't know when he will really be ready
