Miami needs to be tested. Thats the main thing. And if we get to avoid the only playoff team in the east we didnt win or split the season series with then thats just a plus for us.

Kevin Durant dropped 29 tonight.
I THINK, don't quote me though, that Breen said Kevin needed 99 points to edge Carmelo out. So as long as he doesn't drop like 70 Melo should be the champ
I'm not shook. I want chi to beat the crap out of Miami. Plus I'm a little shook
Hey man we can't control what happens, literally. Beating the Hawks can only do so much. I mean if it goes down like that for us and them all the more glory to us if we beat them. Besides that it just looks like ppl complaining are already providing a built-in excuse about the Heat if they go to the finals again. "Oh they had the easy road to the finals look at who they faced in the East." Well they're the 1st seed and they earned it. These other teams either didn't win enough or didn't want to be strategic about who they face and when or maybe they did and they're avoiding the Heat. It's as much about making the Heat work to get to ECF as anything. The Bulls have had our number this season, yeah. But if the Heat sweep the first 2 rounds, barely break a sweat not facing a tough defense, and are healthy and well rested come the ECF...that's ******** for whoever faces them.Yall dudes is too shook. I say bring on the Bulls or Pacers in the 2nd round but really yall should take it one series at a time. Lets focus on sweeping the Celts first.
Honestly I don't completely get this thinking cuz they were tested the past two years and they beat the Bulls, Celts, and Pacers convincingly. All teams who groups of ppl all said each team had a chance of legitimately beating them these past 2 playoffs when they really didn't.Miami needs to be tested. Thats the main thing. And if we get to avoid the only playoff team in the east we didnt win or split the season series with then thats just a plus for us.

There are two seeds still to be settled in the East and the #Knicks may have a rooting interest. More:
Only a half-game separates the fifth-seed Hawks and the sixth-seed Bulls. Atlanta plays their game-in-hand tonight against Toronto and then finishes the season against the Knicks at MSG on Wednesday.
The Bulls finish up Wednesday against the Wizards.
Considering the dominance Chicago had against the Knicks during the regular season (not to mention how tough the Bulls have played the Heat), there is certainly motivation for the Knicks to beat Atlanta on Wednesday to ensure they finish sixth and the Bulls finish fifth.
That would keep Chicago out of their bracket through the first two rounds and potentially set up a Bulls-Heat second round series that could get interesting.
Of course the Bulls may prefer to avoid the Heat and stay in the Knicks' bracket. Chicago, if they stay in the sixth spot, would be matched up against the Pacers in the first round -- talk about an ugly series -- and then could see the Knicks in Round 2, which they would go into with great confidence.
Nevertheless, Mike Woodson isn't taking any chances. He said after sitting the core of his lineup Monday in Charlotte that the plan is for his full roster to play Wednesday in the regular season finale against Atlanta.
"I think they might all play Wednesday," he said.
He did, however, say it would be up to the players.
"If Melo and them guys want to sit out Wednesday, that's on them as well," he said. "But I'm thinking that they're going to probably play."
Should the Knicks disregard rest and do all they can to avoid a potential second-round matchup with the Bulls? 13 minutes ago

Rasheed Wallace left without talking to reporters. Seemed to be limping.
Bulls won't beat Indiana, they won't play the Knicks regardless. Honestly tho, if the inevitable happens, I have no problem if we did play the Bulls. Bring them.
I ha my reservations about the Bulls mid-season, but with the addition of Kenyon Martin, and now Sheed is back. Our physicality is there. A type of physicality we didn't have before.
I really see the Knicks defense stepping it up to another level in the playoffs, Woodson will make that happen. So at the end of the day, a Bulls vs Knicks series would come down to defense and the Bulls have a much bigger issue scoring the ball then we do.
