and we're done

So who are they bringing in to help Coach Woodson make better in-game adjustments?
Ouch

"They both have to realize that the most important thing is not how great you are individually," Olajuwon said. "You're remembered for how many games you win. So to get to play with another great offensive player should help you. It should make your job easier. You have to work well together. You can't be competitors with one another."
"It shouldn't be Amare just staying in the post because he can be a scorer in the paint and outside," Olajuwon said. "It's the same thing for Carmelo. He can score in the post and outside. So if Carmelo is in the post, Amare can be at the foul line and he can make that shot. If Amare's in the post, Carmelo can make the shot from the free-throw line, too. They shouldn't be competing against each other; they should be complementing each other. They need each other to win."

Maybe Hakeem should be our head coach

Honestly wouldn't mind seeing tmac back in blue and orange. :\

I won't mind either.

And :lol at management finally doing something right with the dream training our guys but most of us giving no credit.
Knick fans will be Knick fans.
I give credit where its due, I'm glad that the organization has done this. I can't wait for the next season.

Hakeem minus well be on the payroll.
Melo with Hakeem training him could easily make him the deadliest in the game. I can only imagine the arsenal he would have.

Dolan interview from 1997...

Q: What surprised you about Isiah the Coach?

A: That he doesn't know how good he really is.

Q: Why is that?

A: He's very demanding of himself.

Q: How would you describe your ownership style?

A: Supportive ... to where it's all about the team, and the fans. I'm not a hands-off manager and I'm not as much a hands-on manager. I'm a believer in process and structure and having a plan and sticking to it.

Q: You don't believe in raising ticket prices if the Knicks and/or Rangers fail to make the playoffs.

A: Inherent in an increase is that the product is worthy of it. Whenever we raise prices as cable operators, which we're famous for, we always added in more product. That's been the culture of the company. The playoffs are the reward for being a loyal fan. When the fan doesn't get that, they feel disappointed. You shouldn't then tell them you're gonna have to pay more to have the same experience.
