depends where you wanna go..im not a chef or planning to be one but i heard the top school is in NY...also there's a lot of type of chef...so which fieldsyou want to be?

why on earth would u want to stay in the inland empire?? if that's what IE means

I worked at Lucques on Melrose in Los Angeles for about 2 years as an intern when I was in High School after completing a pretty thorough culinary course atthe New School of Cooking in Culver City.

As far as the pay goes it wasn't worth it for me to pursue culinary arts...hours would be like come in at 2:30-3 to begin prepping for dinner service thenstay until roughly 11:30-12 (or later) cleaning/setting up for next day...usually 5-6 days a week. not to mention you are on your feet the entire time and itgets stupid stressful when the restaurant is busy. I'm much happier cooking for myself/family/friends at this point

Culinary Arts School is a waste of money. Well that's what the majority of the students who've attended told me.

I went to Le Cordon Bleu, if I could do it over again I would go to CIA in New York

Dont go into it trying to make bank though because you will be dissapointed. Its more about the love of doing something you enjoy. School is so expensive itwould take a lot of time working to pay it off

The only people who are making good money either A- own their own business or B- are on TV, which is why there are so many misconceptions nowadays or C-working 500 hours each week to be in a top position like executive or sous chef
