No, it isn't what you think it is...
Now that that is out of the way, check it out. The 24 Hours of Booty is the nation's only 24 hour charity bike ride. The event originated in Charlotte and has spread to Columbia, MD, and also Atlanta. The Columbia event is August 28-29 and 50% of the money raised stays right in Columbia and goes to the Ulman Cancer Fund (the other 50% goes to LAF). Though I am not a cyclist, I took part in the event last year as a volunteer (some of my family rode) and I am helping out again this year. If anyone out there is interested in getting involved, shoot me a DM with your email address. I will make sure you get added to their mailing list etc.
