I would prefer the show to NOT go down some massive story arc that requires continuity every episode. Ricka nd Morty doing nonsense in a vacuum is the show at the peak IMO

No I agree with you guys, but I fear that if Morty turns evil and goes away or something we will spend outsized amount of time dealing with that.
The model they have now is great, I feel like at most we need three episodes a season of continuing an overarching plot.

The way the writing is and the way Rick is if they do go on a story arc exploring evil Morty, Rick is just going to hit the reset button by the end and get a new Morty or erase evil Morty's memories of his turn.
