you could very well do that since both shoes are built with lateral stability in mind, with the basketball shoes having firmer cushioning to support landings.

you still looking for tennis shoes? If you're serious about playing, stick to proper tennis shoes (from the tennis line)... I supposed, structurally, bballshoes can be used for tennis, but they won't last you very long and you'll risk tearing up the toe-box area... don't use running shoes... no lat.stability... both available in different colors as well...
