Alright you Apple store heads. I'm killing time at school, so I thought I'd post... I've gone through 2 interviews with the store (applying for aspecialist). I'm just wondering how long from the 2nd interview do they call you back offering a position?

Usually not long. Maybe a few days.

Just keep in mind that you're going to hate customers/your manager after, oh, say a month... Consider yourself warned.

Gotcha. Yeah I mean, it is RETAIL. But I just needed a job, so it's decent that Apple's even considering me. So I'm constantly waiting for thatphone call 0___o.

Was a few years ago when I was hired, but I seem to remember an e-mail from the manager, not a call. Could be changed now though.

man screw apple. I applied there several times and they have yet to call me back. They dnt wanna hire a *#+*! from the hood

during the group interview, they said its like 25% off of a whole system once a year. and like 15% on other products. something like that.

  • deals on product models Apple is discontinuing prior to new product introductions, and overstocked items before the end of each quarter

I have more customer service than retail, but I'm pretty confident, as far as giving examples from past working situations / presenting the product in thefirst interview, and defining my perspective to an apple customer

But it is what it is :ohwell:

apples discount sucks.

usually what does a second interview on a job entail?

That they like the way you presented yourself in front of all the others in the group interview; leading you onto the one on one interview.

discount is 25% OFF 1 computer and then 15% off 2 more... once a year. They called me back like 3 weeks after 2nd interview. They don't really care aboutyour product knowledge, just want you to sip the company kool aid. Just talk about how you love apple and how you want to work with a product you love bla blabla......Thing I hated about working there was these people seemed to have no friends other than their co workers, plus they were all rats and could not betrusted. I swear some of the lamest cats in the world work there.
