Overall about what I expected

I had an issue between iCloud and the 13 pro max earlier this year or last year. There was only 1 video file in my camera roll that didn’t transfer. It had to download but when I tried playing it, it kept saying unable to download, and it just wouldn’t play.

iCloud for some reason deleted that file from my iCloud storage online during a sync backup, so I had to delete that file from my phone in order to transfer the rest of my pics and videos to a sd card.

From that point on I made it a priority to transfer my whole camera roll to sd cards via the adapter, and stop my iCloud subscription. Yup it takes so much time but I expect the process to be better and faster with the 15 pro max.

So I don’t trust the iPhone to automatically transfer every file or everything between iPhones. I basically do everything or most things manually.

setting => focus => do not disturb => apps => add apps => add “messages”

hopefully that fixes it

I am in a 13 pro running ios17 and I am also having issues getting vibrating notifications from emails. I’m going to different apps trying to see what works and it’s a struggle. It shouldn’t be this hard for things to just work.

Im all for it but this one sucks (in terms of new tech). Im all about the camera when it comes to upgrading so for me this model is a disappointment. 5x zoom does nothing for me. I probably wont upgrade til they upgrade the .5 lens. Im on a 14 Pro though, if youre coming from anything older theres lots to be excited about.

This iOS update did something to my battery. 14PM here and that joint is dying a lot faster. I used to hit the gym and still have my phone above 90%. Now when I leave that joint damn near at 80, high 70s

I heard that was an issue with the update. Though I never fully understood the whole battery talk, whenever im in my car I just throw it on the charger just cause, most if not all of us drive here no? To and from a venue, shopping, whatever. I get it, the more battery life the better (convenience) but some other forums (Reddit) it feels like people only wanna charge overnight and have their phone last the whole day. You have a charger in your car, work, wherever. Its not hard to find a place to charge your phone even a little bit. If youre at a venue or something for a basketball or football game, concert whatever you shoudnt be on your phone that much anyways, take a couple videos and pics for the gram and go enjoy the damn event. :lol:

Only time where I might have battery anxiety is if im traveling, but nothing a portable cant remedy.

Been working from home a lot more recent so I decided to get an iPad desktop setup going. I’ve been computer less about 4 years leaning heavily on the iPad Pro. Every time I think I’m gonna have to pickup a laptop or pc because the iPad can’t do something, iPad os updates with even more features. As it stands now I don’t think I’ll ever need a computer outside of the one my work gives me.

My set up right now might have been just as expensive or more than a MacBook but that didn’t happen all at once and I got to baby step my way there upgrading only when I needed to or just felt like spending money lol

Can’t speak for the other iPads but the M1 iPad Pro is golden. On the go I have the Magic Keyboard, at home I’ve got it running like a desktop.

It def took greeting used to. And I was driven This route to begin because I do a lot of video editing from it and the keyboard, track pad, mouse, and eventually screen came because it made doing all of that super easy. Once you’ve got all that docking the iPad Pro makes it a computer. The only real reason I pull out my laptop when I’m working from home is to get things off my companies network via vpn.

I never thought about docking an ipad but I also never owned an ipad or even held one

iphone 15 pro comes in tuesday and kinda interested in seeing how it turns out

a little pissed tho cause verizon restricts shipment rerouting to the fedex store which shouldn’t be allowed

all packages should be allowed to be rerouted to the damn company tasked with delivering it

but eh, might have to leave work early to sign for it or even stay home smh

My iPad is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

It is the LTE joint but I don’t have it connected to iMessages etc. so it works out pretty well when I am reading etc.
