What you mean? How do they price it? 8o

Basically full price now. Life the price you'd pay at the apple store
Except you don't have to pay full price and you change you're phone out 3 times aka upgrade without paying a dime if you're credit is good.
I change my phone every year . Don't make any sense buying a phone full price today if 1 year later the new one dropping and I'm not gonna get anywhere near what you paid when you try to sell you're previous model.
No interest also.
I pay 15 dollars a month for my 6 I paid nothing when I got it. When the 6s I'll upgrade to that and pay nothing out of pocket and keep paying 15 dollars a month for it Aswell .
Can't beat it

I'm confused how you are doing that? I'm on T-Mobile and pay full price. No T-Mobile payment plan crap. Already made the mistake of buying the 6+ 16gb :{

I'm on sprint and I can't upgrade till the first week of December but they are offering me this lease program now.

Honestly don't know anything about this new lease sh*t and would rather do the 2-year contract all over again just incase they want to mess/raise my monthly bill.

Yeah I'm lost. Cause when you jump to another phone i believe you still have to pay off thr old on as well.

With Tmo I read that if you payed off atlas half of the phone you can trade it in for a new phone. All payments of the previous phone is over you just start paying for the new phone immediately

There's 2 different versions, jump program and the jump on demand program. The jump on demand is the 3 phones per year.

You pay a monthly fee for a phone and when you're ready to get a new one, you turn in that old phone and you swap it out for whatever's new.

Think of it as a lease on a phone.

Ahhhh I see, that makes sense. U agree with brewc1ty brewc1ty though. I'd wanna keep my old phone each upgrade lol

Keeping my 6+ until the 7. I don't do S phones.

I do however, need that new iPad pro to be a reality. And I need it to run OSX...

Something wrong with the S line?

Nothing "wrong" with it, but doesn't make sense to go from a 6 to a 6s, the change is minimal at best

Pretty much. No point in me investing that kind of money into a phone for 1 year.

Thats like buying a new car and trading it in 1 year later. The phone is still fully capable of handling everything I need, it looks exactly the same, and for the most part, speed upgrades and new features are minimal.

And while I wouldn't trade in car 2 years later, a 2 year lifespan for a "smartphone" is about right for me. I've had every non S iPhone since the 3GS. I learned my lesson after upgrading to virtually the same phone. While the 3GS was one of the more powerful upgrades from an original to an S model, it still wasn't quite worth it.

At this point in the smartphone market, there isn't anything the 6S can do thaty 6+ already can't. Its rumored to have a higher res screen, maybe 25-30% faster?

All I do on the phone is take pics of my son and talk sports trash on twitter. I don't really need a yearly update.

That iPad though....

Anyone have a spot in NYC to repair iPhone 6 screen? I went to genius bar, they said my phone was bent and therefore not eligible for the $110 screen replacement. They directed me to an "authorized dealer" to get it done there instead. I explained the situation and the authorized dealer said they send the phone to Apple themselves so if the phone is bent they would have the same problem and were not sure why Apple would send me to them.

If anyones been in a similar situation or has a spot, please let me know.

Pretty much this. I'm not eligible to upgrade until the new one comes out any way. My 6 plus is good money right now.

Like said there's no reason to upgrade every year. This leasing crap is beyond ******ed can't believe ppl are actually jumping into these plans. Even heard some stories about Verizon customers getting stuck paying for their early upgrade program even after their contract was terminated lulz

I answered your pm

^^ It isn't. For some people it makes sense, especially the Jump on Demand from TMO.

People just can't understand that it's different strokes for different folks.

how much yall think i can sell a used ipad air 16gig for? my son is ready for his first phone, so i dont think he'll be playing with the ipad anymore...

I just did JOD on 2 lines today. Traded in 2 old *** smartphones from 2010 and got a $216 bill credit per line for them ($12/month bill credit for 18 months, per line).

Grabbed a 16 gig 6 and 6+ for $0 out the door. When the 6S drops I'll trade these new phones in and pay $99 each for a 64 gig 6S and 6S+, which will funded by selling the current unlocked 6/6+ we have.

And next September I'll be able to give them back the 6S/6S+ and get the 7 without the hassle of selling a phone. That's really the only reason I did JOD--I'm tired of dealing with scammers, lowballers and PayPal's 180 day return policy. As I've grown older, I've realized that you can't put a price on having less hassle in life.

Yeah, yeah...it's a lease. So what though? Who really cares about owning their phone? Dudes are worried about owning phones but they still live at home with moms and still use her family plan. :lol I have zero need for old phones when I get a new one. And I'll get AppleCare+ regardless so I'm protected. And I already know I'm getting a new phone every 12 months. Personally, I really can't see a downside to the JOD thing. *shrugs*

Same here. I sold my unlocked 64gb 6 and scooped up a 6 with jod. Traded in a old samsung my brother had laying around. :lol only reason i did its because it made sense for me so im planning on getting the 6s.

Someone wanna pm me or post here about the advantages of JOD? Cause I have Jump but only use the insurance portion and pay my phone off so I can keep it (sell it) when new ones come out.

For people who like to swap out phones whenever a new one comes out and who don't want to have to pay the entire phone off or bother with selling it afterwards, this plan is for you.
