These are def. the worst people on social media. Like if you're a jerk, be a jerk. We'll all sleep better knowing that's who you are.

But this whole positive movement is just making a mockery of what is supposed to be good. It's all for self-gratification and not about community building.

No disrespect to anyone but I notice that most of the time it's affluent White people who take some expensive trip to a remote island and do yoga poses for their IG with all the hippy dippy hashtags. Meanwhile they won't mingle with the locals and try to understand their culture. It's all take, take, take. What can I use to make me look better.

Idk about all of that but I do agree with the people who travel but don't leave their resort or mingle with the locals. Like what's the point of your trip than?
