Avoidant Personality Disorder?

some of you are probably just anti social to a certain degree, dont know about it being a disorder though.

yea I agree, I think I am just shy to a superhuman extent. Like someone else said above, I don't really believe in the whole everything being a disorder ordisease thing. I was watching tv the other day and they got one called restless leg syndrome. WTF. I guess I got that, but isn't that just hyper/active.Some people are just shy, or dumb, or don't pay attention, or lazy, or bad, or angry, or crazy, or eat too much, or whatever it is. Doesn't matter whatis you do, you can get a pill for it. ****s crazy sometimes.

And i really fear that mostly everything about humans...

I do have girlfriend, and few friends i could trust .. but i definitely have this.

Word I do this too. Alot of times when I see someone I know anywhere, whether its school, the mall, etc. I just pretend I don't see them or formulate aplan to elude them.

you guys need to stop over analyzing yourselves, there are other people who have it worse. only then can you truly become "free".

I use to feel like I had this during college, but now I realized that I don't need to say wussup or befriend every person that I've come across in myentire life.

Most people experience the same "symptoms" the PS stated. It's not a disorder in the majority of cases. Usually its just shyness, social anxiety,or anti-social behavior. Things become a disorder when they significantly affect and inhibit the way in which you live your life, often times to the detriment.I'm guessing that if you had to talk to the girl in front of you about something you could do it, as uncomfortableas it may be. It's more a matter of you being uncomfortable speaking to others rather than a real fear of interaction w/ people. I wouldn't be soquick to go around saying you have a disorder like this or any other w/o medical screening. You can't self diagnose these things.
