Barber pushed my hairline back.....Can I bring it back? Vol. NO PICS!!!!

About 3 weeks ago, I went to another barber since I was visiting fam in another city.

Dude pushes my hairline 3 inches back! Dude used a blade and everything.....

I thought...I could just do the buzz cut, zero all around, and it would grow back. My hairline is not where it once was!!! My dudes tell me it heredity.....

My question is: How can I bring it back? Rogaine? Or am I forced to take this L for the rest of my life.

I may have over exaggerated how many inches my hairline got pushed back.....but its was very noticable.
