They have very good cushioning, but they're quite heavy. It slowed down my speed significantly, especially after running back to back games. (I had the Lebron IV).

That's why. All the other Lebron's are much lighter. The 4s were the heaviest, but even then I dunno, I never have had the weight of a shoe affect inin any way. The cushioning yes, I hate any shoes that are built for post players like flightposite maxes (Tim Duncans).
